Hello All:

I have been reading for a while and you have good information to share. And some fun bird photos too. My husband and I are in our early 60’s and I am looking at retirement in the future and Medicare, etc. We have a parrot and dog. Our child is grown and out on her own.

The parrot and dog get along fine. We had the parrot first. We introduced the new puppy to the parrot and after a minute the parrot nipped the puppy on the nose very lightly. Since then the dog recognized the parrot as head of the pack which worked wonderfully. We were worried that the dog would try to attack the parrot. No problems at all.

We got lucky. It could have gone terribly wrong.

Hello, Sadie123, and welcome to the forum. You might remember me asking you if you were my friend, Evelyn, a while back, and I thank you for answering me.
Evelyn was my friend and neighbor for many years, and then moved away to live with her daughter. She used to have a little Shih Tzu named Sadie, so her password for everything was “Sadie123”.
It seemed like a possibility that you could be her, but I could not send a private message for some reason, which was why I ended up sending the profile post.

It is fun to find friends you have lost touch with. I hope Evelyn finds you. I also hope she changes her password! (Joke). I will look into how to allow private messages. I have not figured everything out here as yet.
