I've been using DAZ Studio and Poser for around 15 years all together. I've created a few characters to represent some of my life's experiences. This is one of my alter egos, Marlin Fingle!

Alter, as in the alter at church? Grin. Is DAZ like Photoshop or Photo Impact? Marlin looks like he needs to wash his hair. Do you need me to send shampoo?

I like your word play. DAZ Studio is a program made by DAZ3D. DAZ Studio is free. You pay more to add more things. I like Marlin just the way he is!

Thanks. I have Photo Impact and I was wondering if it does the same thing.

If Marlin wants to get the ladies, he needs to wash his hair. Grin. If that's not his thing....

No DAZ Studio is a program that allows you to create your own people, animals, scenes, etc. Another similar program is Poser.

You're more cleaver than me. I couldn't get Poser to do much. Just about the time I was learning to use it, Windows was updated. I asked the Poser people if they could provide an update. They said no. I'm not a techy, so often I have a hard time getting things like this to work for me.

I started out with Poser in 1999. I made Poser tutorials for over a decade before I retired.

DAZ Studio does many things that Poser won't. Marlin & Friends were created with DAZ's Genesis characters as building blocks. Marlin will keep his hairstyle. It's part of his zany charm!
