I am now in my 50s, professionally very active and in transition all at once - and delighted that G-d has blessed me with some wonderful family.

It was through a couple of different avenues that I found this very nice forum and hope to meet some kind and engaging people of good will.

Not real sure what else to say, except that I love animals, sports, music and some forms of politics - you guessed it, the numbers-end of politics. I won't be on for extreme amounts of time, but would love to participate in some uplifting discussions, especially about pets.

Wishing everyone a happy and blessed Memorial Day weekend. See you out there. :)

He is a sweetheart. Lives in Germany, has a beautiful daughter and a sweet little dog. He is a friend of mine and I am so pleased he has come here. :)

Sorry to have to post and run right now, but evidently my 16 year-old dog got something really nasty in her fur while walking in the woods this afternoon and it is stinking like crazy, so the sweet old girl is going for her evening walk with "Papa" right now, then she will get a good grooming and then off to the bathtub with her!!! Bathing her is quite a hoot, but hard on my back. Eek.

So, once Dog and Man are bathed, I will jump back on. I just hope I don't get the urge to scratch behind my ears afterward... :) :)

Hey Stat...use apple cider vinegar as a rinse on Klia. It cuts the smell and fleas HATE that stuff. It will be good for her fur too. AND your own body. :)

Well, the washing of the Dog and then the washing of the Man was a success. It was high time, but where I live, the weather has shifted so much between quite warm and almost winterly cold, and the pooch is 16 and getting quite frail, I didn't want to risk her getting a cold.

So, now is chill time.

Hi, Pappy, nice to make your acquaintance. My (now drying) pooch is right next to me on the couch, getting scratched behind the ears whilst I happily type away. Sweet old lady, she is.
 
Stat has a rockin' bod, too, lol. Well..from what I saw of his pics, anyway.
He is a very nice man and his daughter is just sweet as can be. I feel I know her even though we have never met.

Wow Stat..I forgot just how old Klia is. You take such good care of her.

So..how did the tango go last night with your lady friends? Did you have lots of fun? I would love to see you at one of your clubs, lol. Take pics next time!
