A man was supposed to come at 4 o'clock this afternoon and get an antique calendar I had for sale on Marketplace. In his PM he mentioned that he was the regional director of Prudential and wanted it for his office. At 4:30 and not showing, I PMed him and no response. I looked up his business phone and called an only got an answering machine. About half an hour later he phoned me and said he had been called out of town and wouldn't be back until late Thursday. Nice of him to let me know!

I heard from him this morning. He said he'd TRY to make it this afternoon, but he had business meetings all day and wasn't sure when they would be over.

He actually showed up today. In addition to the calendar he bought other items. $125, so it was worth the wait.

That's terrific. I'm glad everything worked so well. Yet, this is the reason I'm no selling things as I prepare for my bare-boned escape. Unreliable people coming and going, or not, and weirdo scoping out the place are not part of my plan. So, I'm giving away or throwing away everything. Anybody want . . . stuff?
