Domino's is testing service in a single neighborhood in Houston

Domino’s Pizza’s newest deliverer isn’t a person — it’s a self-driving car.

The restaurant company said Monday that an autonomous car made by Nuro will start delivering pizzas in Houston this week as part of a pilot program.

Like it or not, it's here, not in large numbers yet, but it won't be long. I suppose if they can send a space craft to Mars with no pilot and safely land it, and repeat it many times, driving a car around with no driver would not be that difficult. Of course, the roads from here to Mars are a lot smoother than these bumpy slabs we drive our cars on.

Ya know, a drone delivery isn't a bad idea. It would be faster, and easier to get around, because its off crowded streets.
