Hey, Part of the good old days are coming back.

Ike, the Pres. said, "The more things change the more they are the same". Well, it's kind of true. They are going to start home delivery of milk in my area. Years ago, you had the fruit guy with his truck, milkmen, bread guys, all kinds of vendors with their trucks. I think were going back to that, but instead of getting one kind of product from a guy with a truck, we are getting all kinds of products with one guy, and a truck-the fedex guy/UPS guy/USPS guy.milk.jpg

We don't have our milk delivered, but we do by farm-fresh milk from a local dairy, and the difference is night and day.

We will never go back to big name brand carton milk.

Marg, You're so lucky! Is it pasturized? Probably healthier for you if it isnt!
You'll probably live to be 120 years old!

I don't use much milk. Just keep some on hand for recipes that call for a 1/4 cup, or something!
But this is awesome!

Now, If we could just get everything else to go back to what it used to be . . . . . hahaha!

We have a handful of choices, Gaer, there is a pasteurized version that comes in 1% and 2%, a whole version that's unpasteurized, as well as 100% whipping cream.

Hubby and I have gained a taste for the 1%, as the 2% and whole version are quite thick, especially the unpasteurized version.

We've had the unpasteurized version only once before when the 1% was sold out, and you have to either shake the glass bottle good to help dissolve the thick cream top, or remove the cream that has settled on top of the glass bottle using a knife or spoon.

The whole unpasteurized version is like drinking whipping cream.
