Yes, these flowers seem to announce it, nice photos BTW, but I'm in no great hurry to get to Spring yet. Maybe silly but it'll be my first birthday without hubby. Just wishing for milder weather just now. Got to call supplier for affordable debit changes from Feb 2023.

Hey, spring is nearly here

I was wondering where it might be, not even close here. It'll be at least 6 to 8 weeks before our first greenery appears... I envy you.

Must be nice! I used to live in a "warm" corner of Canada. It was so magical to see the snowdrops and yellow aconites in February.

Now I live in a very cold area, where the RVs don't spring up until May.

Winter is beautiful too though, in its way.

No here, PNW is coming into our "Winter Phase" in in this time, we get our snow.

Not here ..it was a a winter wonderland here.. took 10 minutes to get the ice defrosted from my car

We did get wee bit of snow which is still sticking around since about 7pm. This morning we've had a real hard frost which clung to the rooftops all day.

It means it's been much warmer so we were able to turn the heating down from 19 to 17°C.

I firmly believe that it's best to wait for Punxsutawney Phil around 2 February to know when we'll be done with snow and other winter precipitations. You know your Groundhog Day?

I've been outside some the last two days and I did see a few buttercups peeping out, too early they'll get nipped.

We've got bulbs coming up here and as it's our first spring here I have no idea what they are. Time will tell!
