I am watching triple D, showing a place that does smoked meats. I love a good smoked brisket, chicken, pork and suasage. I use to have a smoker, the one where I had to do the whole charcoal thing. To much work for me. I hear they have electric ones now. Has anyone tried these. Is it something I should look into? A pound of smoked brisket or pork is running more than 20$ a pound around here. I know all about liquid smoke and have been using it but it is not as good as a true slow cooked smoked meat, I just love that bark and smoke ring. No liquid can do that.
