At 9m tonight on HGTV,begins a limited series called'A Very Brady Renovation' involving the kids from the classic comedy'The Brady Bunch' '69-'74,celebrating its 50th yr
The house was used for the exterior shots on the show,while the interior shots were shot on Stage 5 at Paramount Studios. It was 3 bedroom,3 bath located in LA's San Fernando Valley went up for sale last yr,HGTV bought it for $ 3.5 million. The head honchos at network thought it would be a great idea to have the kids involved &help renovate it The other HGTV shows helping out were: Drew&Joanthan Scott from 'Property Brothers', Karen Laine&her daughterMina from'Good Bones',Steve&sister Leane Ford"Restored by the Fords",Jasmine Roth "Hidden Potential'
This is the 1st time the kids,Barry Williams"Greg',Maureen MCCormick"Marcia",Eve Plumb"Jan',Susan Olsen'Cindy',Chris Knight"Peter",Mike Lookinland"Bobby' have been together in 15 yrs
The renovated house has been appraised at $ 3.9million which doesn't include the new furnishings.
