Hi. I've been reading the forum for a few days and decided to join this friendly group. As you can guess from my screen name and avatar, I'm a huge baseball fan. Any other baseball fanatics here?
 

Welcome BB! Used to be a Tigers baseball fan but that was decades ago.

Hi there and welcome to this place. I hope you enjoy your time here. Sorry, not a baseball fan as I am a Scot and we dont get much of the game over here.
 
Although I'm primarily a Yankees/Mets fan, I like to have a favorite team in each division and the Tigers are definitely my choice in the AL Central, mostly due to Miguel Cabrera.

I loved the lush, green countryside and the beautiful lochs. The only thing I didn't care for was the weather - it rained every day. Do you ever get any sunshine?

My favorite place was Dunrobin Castle. I had to walk through a forest to get there (felt like I had entered Camelot) and when I arrived, I was greeted by a young boy playing the bagpipes. It was absolutely magical.

Although I'm not really a Dbacks fan, it is disappointing that Greinke hasn't delivered for them. But I love the trade they made with the Yankees last year. Didi Gregorious is quickly becoming a NYY fan favorite, and proving that he's up to the challenge of replacing the great Derek Jeter.
 
The Dbacks have made a lot of fans happy with their recent trades. Sadly, those are fans of other teams though and not Dback fans !

Yes, I'm sure Dbacks fans are miserable that they let Mark Trumbo go. Orioles fans are thrilled that he's now there, with his 28 home runs and 68 RBIs already this season. He's been killing the Yankees this year, so we're sorry, too, that he's no longer with the Dbacks.

That is a very impressive guide to Scotland you have there! I enjoyed that.

We do get sunshine.....sometimes! In fact we had a very sunny spring this year, then it rained again! But this week we were basking in temps of 29C and sunshine. Before the storms, of course! The best time for visiting Scotland is Spring or Autumn. The colours are best and the weather often kinder.

Thanks for the links. Beautiful photos of a beautiful country. I also loved the Scottish people - everywhere I went, they were so friendly.
