Thank you for the warm welcome Knight and Shirley.
I don't know, Shirley. I see a lot of Scots and Canadians here too.
Someday we'll have to take a poll.

We have several Australians as well. And several English. Two of us are Americans who live in the UK. One is English and lives in France.

I changed my avatar because I got tired of looking at my face. I figure if I'm tired of it then you all must be having a real snooze-fest…it's a perfect cure for insomnia.

Lara, the blue butterfly is pretty. I doubt any of us get tired of looking at your face though. :) I like to switch avatars sometimes just cause I get bored easily.

I spent a few months at a motel outside of Raleigh near the airport several years ago. I think it was near the airport, I know it was next to a nice mall. I just love your state! N.C., GA and FL are "my" east coasts states. :) My husband was working at Cary on an extended stay hotel I think. I remember we spent that Thanksgiving, just the 2 of us, at the Golden Corral and it was a pretty nice day.

Thank you Linda. That Golden Corral is gone now. It was replaced by a China Buffet and is now vacant I think.

A huge new shopping mall was built across the street (still building more onto it) and so I think the one across the street is feeling the competition.

Progress moves at a fast pace in Cary.
