Hi! New from Nova Scotia…

Hi everyone. I’m delighted to find this forum! It was recommended on another forum. I’m in my 60’s, my Hubby is in his 70’s. I’m interested in fibre - as in, spinning, knitting, embroidery, sewing, quilting, traditional rug hooking (not latch hook!). I am a contemporary mixed fibre artist using rug hooking as my main medium. I am also a painter. I enjoy a bit of nature journaling too. I love to cook. I am interested in personal finance and finances in general, as well as health and wellness.

Welcome, @BlueOcean ... it seems we have quite a lot in common! I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I've been! I've only been here since Christmas Day but feel so much "at home" already.

Welcome! I also do all the Fiber Arts things and when we moved back to New England, 5 years ago, we found DOZENS of groups to join. I've managed to hook up with 3 very active groups but will give up bobbin lace this year - its just too much!

I am also a HUGE fan of The Curse of Oak Island and have followed the History Channel show for all of it's 10 seasons. Are you any where near there or do you have any input to share?? :) no pressure......
