This seems like a very nice forum. I am looking forward to reading and participating in good conversations here.
Just moved from Connecticut to Florida with my husband and two dogs. I have no children or family so do feel like an orphan at times especially on Facebook!
My husband has three adult sons, two who live 1/2 hour away from us which is nice for both of us. Oldest is married but looks like there may be no grandchildren in the future from any of his sons which makes me sad.
We made some great friends here almost immediately which was very nice since that was a concern for me.
We just bought a house so will be busy decorating, and gardening and getting it the way we would like.
It is a quite a transition for me since I love New England and the snow but I am adjusting
