I like to watch these YouTube videos showing young kids in their teens and 20s listening music from the 60s and 70s for the first time. Usually, they're blown away, and some of them are pretty sharp. Like they realize singers like Tom Jones, The Righteous Brothers and all the rest are singing clean; there's no auto-tune or pitch-correction, no post-production whatsoever, just pure talent and natural dynamics.
Anyway, this kid here, LFR JoJo, is one of the sharp ones. He's not a musician, as far as I know, but he seems to have a good understanding of music and what makes exceptional music and performances exceptional.
He's also funny. In this video, he's shocked to discover that "Stayin' Alive" was sung by the Bee Gees...and the Bee Gees were white guys!
