Brilliant! Clever, deliciously funny, and mortifying accurate in an embarrassing kind-of-way that cast a realistic impression of downfall and shame upon humanity.
As I viewed the unfurling of one age, scene, into the next, my mind kept revisiting the video that another SF member shared: “Insane: Young Americans Don’t Know Anything,” and I reflected on how ironic that intelligent humor, historical information, and satirical glibness depicted in this video, might elude comprehension of the vast majority of youthful people incompetent of formulating astute answers to simple questions.
The history video ends with this question: “By the hell, where are we?”
One can only assume, if the younger American generation is truly at a loss to understand how many eggs make up a dozen, or inadequate of arriving at an accurate answer of what 3x3x3 equals, or not recognizing how many states comprise the United States “where we’re at/headed” as a country, is to “hell in a handbasket.”
