Hmm...Should I Be Concerned?

Some dude who has made only one post on this forum is now 'Following Me'. Should I bring this to the attention of @Matrix? Or is this just a normal occurrence.

Thanks for the Info @Rakaia

I checked the 'About' feature in my Profile. I now have 4 people following me. Not really sure what this means but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. ;)

Following someone just adds them to a list on your About page (of you profile). Its a way of keeping track of usernames of members who's post(s) you have liked.
If the person you're following hasn't block their profile, you can link to their latest activity and review their recent posts.

From CallMeKate...

"Wait! I just remembered something we were told long ago... under the "What's new" pull-down, there's one for "your news feed".... that's where we see what people we're following posted. I can't believe I forgot that. "

It's nothing to be concerned about, it's just a social media thing. It's not like the follower is reading your email or accessing your bank account.
That's right, it's kind of the newer version of a 'friend request', only now there's no request to approve or reject. I've seen one or two spammers join here who followed me and a dozen other people on their first day, sometimes without ever posting. They didn't last long here, spammers usually don't.
