The Littles like to go to parades and festivals.
A hassle, to be sure, but one I'm willing to endure for the smiles and the laughs and the candy..

Most of the hassle in my life comes from my plans and beliefs about what the holidays should be.

In December I always have my 5 friends that live in my building over for dinner. I decorate and give them all a small gift. I look forward to doing it. Since it’s now just my oldest son and his wife we go out to eat for holidays instead of cooking which is fun.
