There should have a small window right at head height so if someone is using the other half you can stare at each other.

I wonder what the "Tolet room" in the home i grew up in would be called?
It only had a toilet on the second level, you had to go into the room next to it to wash your hands and if someone was in the tub you had to go to the kitchen.

A water closet. It refers to a room or small enclosure containing a flushing toilet fixture, often simply abbreviated as WC.

I see sometimes in listings a reference to a "3/4 bathroom". That apparently refers to a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower stall instead of having the shower/tub combo or separate tub and shower.

At times, they'll refer to a 3-piece, 4-piece, or 5-piece bathroom (I'm guessing that includes a separate bidet).

There’s also the Wet Room where the tub is inside the shower and it often has glass doors.

Thanks but no thanks to being the person who has to clean that up. I stayed at a hotel that had that setup in some of the rooms. Hated it and I didn’t even have to clean it.

Oh yes glass doors. Had that in a holiday home I cleaned up myself to save 65 euro cleaning costs. I'm glad I don't have that at home. I have a shower inside a bath, but I put a shower curtain around it.

I've never seen anything like that. How bizarre.

I detest showering in a bathtub. Even our RV has a stall shower. We have two stall showers in our home (plus two tubs). Our third bathroom is just a sink & toilet.

Then there is the "Pittsburgh Toilet", which is located in a basement with absolutely no privacy (ie, walls, door).

More to the point, would it be referring to the top half of the bathroom or the bottom half?

Or perhaps, for the more adventurous and dexterous, the middle half. Where the upper and lower quarters are missing.
