Don't know if anyone watches this show, it's very good, wins awards since it started. It's always been filmed here in my city, but now they're filming on my street and it's so over the top. There must be 35 almost tractor-trailer sized trucks and 150 people around --major inconvenience for days!!! If it takes this much to make a TV show, no wonder the price of movie tickets is so ridiculous.

It truly is amazing the amount of work and number of people (and dollars) it takes to even produce one scene. Sorry you are being inconvenienced but, at least you get to see the actual creation of your show in progress.

Commiserations Katy, our street was inflicted with an invasion of vehicles, 'chuck wagons' 'mess tents', strange people with whizzbang gadgets in our gardens, torn up lawns, busted plants, and blocked driveways.

Any protest was met with a piece of paper 'permitting' them to do it by some bribed local Council member.

The only one paid was the owner of the house featured, who happened to be the mother of one of the 'producers', we were just collateral damage. She was never too popular with the rest of us after that fiasco.
All that trauma was just for an AD! I can well imagine what a big production could do.
