Horrific Hit and Run Crash In Florida. Driver Fled Scene. Video

From what I have read, the police have recovered the car. Let's hope that's true.

I had dealt with a similar accident some years ago. The driver ran his car through a home that was situated very close to the road. The young girl was sitting on the floor in her living room and was killed by the driver's car. The occupants took off. We apprehended them a day later. We knew they had run because they were DUI. By running and waiting a day before turning themselves in, we could not prove that they were DUI at the time of the accident, or at least they thought so. There were two occupants in the vehicle; one driver and one rider.
