I would suppose then it will be called the "Belmont Stakes at Saratoga".

Changing the race from 1 1/2 miles down to 1 1/4 will change the dynamics of the winning the Triple Crown. The last race separated the great horses from the rest. They should be able to figure out how to keep that last 1/4 miles in the race.

EDIT: I found another article, apparently this move is only for 2 years until the renovations are completed at Belmont Park. So, as of now, only the 2024 & 2025 would be at Saratoga.
