Hot and Cold Food

My father and his father always said. "Hot food should be HOT, and cold food should be COLD!" My grandpa would go so far as to put his plate on a hotplate to keep it warm.

I think food is warm enough when just above body temperature and cold enough just below room temperature.

How do you like yours?

I always preheat the plate if I'm serving hot food.... but I don't like cold food to be Icy cold...

Not so hot it burns my tongue. COLD BUT not FROZEN (unless IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE.)

I like my food a little TOO hot, so I have to wait or blow on it to cool it down.

Cold food must be refrigerator cold, but not frozen.
