With Easter not too far away, I notice all the hot cross buns in the supermarkets. There are so many different flavours, one I saw, adding a dollop of peanut butter, yuk, chocolate buns, yuk, give me the 'old fashioned' recipe , a plain bun with added spices and a cross on the top ,heated, cut in half, spread on a small amount of butter, YUM.
What is your favourite bun.?

That was a real Easter treat, those rich buns. It's been a couple of years since I had one but my mouth is watering so I'm going to get some.

We used to sing:
Hot cross buns, hot cross buns,
Give to your daughters, one by one.
If you have no daughters, give them to your sons.
Hot cross buns, hot cross buns.

Hot cross buns!
Hot cross buns!
One ha’ penny, two ha’ penny,
Hot cross buns!
If you have no daughters,
Give them to your sons
One ha’ penny,
Two ha’ penny,
Hot Cross Buns!
