Hot !

97 here today, supposed to be 98 tomorrow and over 100 all next week. 104 on Thursday; that day I will stay inside.

I HATE the summer heat. I don't remember it usually being this hot this early in the summer, but I'm probably just not remembering correctly. It's not nearly so bad if it cools down at night, but the last few days it has still been warm through the night.
 

That rainy street looks so beautiful to me!

We are heading into, what they claim will be, a 10 day record breaking heatwave. And we'll have unhealthy air to boot. It'll be well over 100* each day I'm sure. Time to get out the TV guide and see what's on.

I guess they felt that it was easier to replace the men than it was the planes.
 
You got that right Ken. Miserable here in Houston today. Theres something in the Gulf that might bring us some rain Wednesday. Just so long it doesn't turn into a hurricane. We have had to leave twice but thankfully here in Clear Lake our homes were okay.
 
It was 113* on my front porch in the shade at 1:30 PM today. Don't see much relief in the next 10 days. We can keep our house comfortable with the a/c but my husband's getting cabin fever so I hope I make it through this heat wave without strangling him. If he could just learn to suffer in silence all would be well in Iodine's world.

No 100's yet!! I see Arizona is going to 119 today!! Hottest ever recorded was 120!!!!
They say it's a "dry" heat but to me 120 is 120 HOT!!
 
I will take the dry heat over the humidity any day but when it is 118 outside it really doesn't matter much. It's suppose to be 120 today.

I'm with you! Been high 90s by me, tomorrow supposed to be 97.
