WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) – He may have been trying for the Husband of the Year Award! Winter Haven Police arrested a shoplifting suspect whose explanation why he had done it was somewhat sweet.


A 48-year-old Wisconsin man was caught stealing at a Walmart in Winter Haven Wednesday afternoon. Brian Crume took three packs of electronic wife from the store on Cypress Gardens Boulevard.


When he was asked why he took the merchandise without paying for it, he said he was going to sell it on the street. He explained that he was trying to raise money to pay his wife’s bail.


She was arrested early Wednesday in Lake Wales, on the charges of – you guessed it – shoplifting.
 

What a guy!!!! I couldn't measure up. I think my wife would be disappointed in me under the same circumstances.;)

BTW - - -What are these packs? :confused:- - - "three packs of electronic wife" - - -never heard of it (or them)??

:dunno: That part I haven't a clue, just the fact that he shoplifted to get her shoplifting self out of the slammer was oh so very touching it just warmed my heart. :giggle:
 

Typo in the article, it's electronic wire, not wife, but, hey it happened in FL, so I just thought some kind of slang for cigarettes or something at first. Duh me. :turnaround:

Our Walmart just started charging for bags, so hubby just told me how could walk out of the store with ill-gotten gains, I think I will pass but if I ever need to pay his bail.....................
