How are others doing after reaching age 85?

I'm 89 and my life is as follows:

1. My wife is still alive and lives with me. She is my primary care giver.
2. I play chess at Chess.com every day to keep my brain at a peak level.
3. I play the PC game, Civilization VI, for the adventure of running a nation from the stone age to the jet age.
4. I take two 20 minute walks every day inside my house to keep my walking ability up to par.
5. I live across the street from my daughter and her husband. She visits me once per week on Sunday afternoons.

I am curious how others are doing if they are also above age 85.

I am 86 and relatively healthy, so is my wife. Recently, I flew to Santa Barbara from my home airport to celebrate my 50 years of flying.
We have cut back on traveling as we do not want to face the chaos at airports. In fact, our last 3 trips have been round trip cruises from our home port.
We left a +55 MHP where we had lived for the past 15 years, and moved to am apartment near the beach., No maintenance and no stairs.
We occasionally get visits from our sons, but 2 of them are quite a way from us.
Life is good!

I turned 85 in July, and while still kicking it, I'm physically getting more unable every day to do much of anything. Gave
up driving 4yrs ago due to just because I knew it was time. Have mucho back/hip/knee/hands problems, which I whine
about on here too much....hey thats life, or aging I guess....my
time is spent on pc and in front of tv, that is okay... :p

I didn’t realize you were 85. You seen much younger. Cognitively you don’t seem 85. You seem very with it.

My mom is in good health at 91, but will be 92 later this year. She still lives in her own home even though I have invited her to come live with me. She had cataracts removed and about 10 years ago and she had her appendix removed. She is only missing 3 teeth, all in the back. She likes to crochet, go on day bus trips and have dinners with a gentleman from church. She sometimes cooks or they go out for breakfast or dinner.

She did just start complaining about back pain on and off the past few months, but she isn’t ready to see the doctor yet because she said it will just mean that she will have another pill to take.
