How can I handle my mom?

Hi all,
My Mom is suffering from Alzheimer's. So I’m thinking of contacting an adult care center ( Prestige care, California ) who are ready to provide full-time nursing service. Does anyone know the procedures and routine of an adult care home? How often are we able to visit our relatives? Do they provide effective nursing care and treatments? How can I handle my mom?

Here, and I imagine in most other places, the quality of care, rules, etc., vary widely from one facility to another. You'll need to visit some of them to get an idea of how well they operate. I'd also talk to families of others who are in care at the facility, and check on whether there have been complaints to the appropriate licensing board, BBB, etc.
