I'm not one for wearing much jewelry except for a couple of pieces that have sentimental value ,my engagement ring, my Moms engagement ring as well as my Grandmas. I also have a semi precious ruby ring that I got from my Mom and Dad when I was in the 8th grade and of course my charm bracelet and a little windmill, a fish necklace that an uncle who I adored gave to me as a child. I still enjoy wearing them.
The flower necklace was my Grandmas.
I just soak them over night in ammonia and use an old tooth brush on them. I've been doing this for years. I haven't seen any damage. What do you use?
After my Grandma passed away my Mom gave me her ring. She told me she wouldn't mind if I had a new setting made for it including mine so I wouldn't have to wear 3 rings on one finger. I thought about it but decided I like the old setting. When my Mom passed I wear her ring on the other ring finger and change off with my ruby ring. Have any of you changed the setting on your rings? Do you wear more than one ring on a finger?
