How do you do the @with a name of member?

You just add the symbol @Rae in front of the members name.

The person you are addressing will receive a notification if the "@" is used. Otherwise, they may overlook the response.

you put the @ sign in front of the persons' name without a space... @jimsmith.... @Rae

The person instantly gets the message in their feedback. If the person’s name doesn’t turn blue then you’ve done something wrong.

It's like "summoning"someone, gotta be careful tho'...

@Rae Now you will see an alert from me in the "alert bell," even though I didn't click on a like, which is the usual method of alerting someone. Also, when you start typing a persons name after the "@" you will see a drop down menu of all the likely persons you might be addressing. Then just click on the name you are looking for and it finishes the process for you.

Just came across old posts with my name in them, without @. If there was an @ I would have seen them immediately. Saw the posts by accident.
So, if you're speaking to/about a person, please use @ before their name, no space like @Pepper
