How Do You Feel About Rainy Days?

Does a miserable wet buckets of rain do something to your usual sunny disposition?

Makes me happy for certain workers. Mainly security/cops, the jerks usually stay home so little crime happens.
Do you get cranky, or sad, or just snuggle in and wait for nicer weather?
Just snuggle in, watching it pour
Do you only go out if you absolutely have to go out/
Yes, I don't like getting wet.

Depends. If it is a drought, a good rain is welcome. If it has been raining 20 days straight, then no I don't want another rainy day so we can have even more mud! If we are buried in snow like we are now, a good rain would be welcomed so that it melts the snow and we can get some nice warm days (the snow reflects the heat back up), given my sump pump is working since the rain has no place to drain with all the snow. And I got a backup sump pump just in case as mine needed a little help getting going this year.

Here is a fishing tip: If you have a crystal clear trout stream, the best time to fish it is during a pouring rain!

I do like a good thunderstorm. The more dramatic the better. Well I say that, but within reason. It’s nice up to the point just before it becomes dangerous.

Listening to the rain in the middle of the night is a pleasant pastime. And on occasion even walking in it. I remember walking home from a night club at 2am in the pouring rain, after losing my wallet. Took me almost 2 hours to get home. Admittedly it was in the middle of summer, so it wasn’t too bad. I was soaked through to the shin, but then the realisation that it doesn’t matter how long it’s raining for, you can only get so wet, and no wetter. After that realisation I started to enjoy it.

Everyone should try a long walk in the rain at least once in their lives.

I live in the UK, and at times it rain's, (but you know that anyway 😀 ) and you might not know when its goint to happen. Regardless of the weather forecast. :)

I really love the occasional rainy day, it lifts my spirits and I love to watch the rain. If it's a light rain, I will put a rain slicker on my dog and go for our usual long walk, even he seems to enjoy it. Cozy feel while camping too, to hear the rain on the roof and venture out when it lets up. The following rainbows can be beautiful.

If I lived somewhere where almost every day of the year was rainy and the sun was rarely out and the ground never really dried, I would feel differently.

I used to love the thunderstorms that rolled in off the Gulf in Florida, the more violent the better.

Now in Utah rain is usually rare, but quite welcome when we get it. Most of our precipitation falls as snow. This winter however I have gotten really tired of snow... and rain. We have set an all time record for precipitation and it keeps coming down. I prefer the rain, easier to plow and shovel.

I love rain but have had too much this year, would never have imagined saying that in drought ridden California but there was so much flooding this year.
I read that there is so much snow on some of the mountains that ski resorts will be open til June.
Yes, you guys have had quite a lot this year. Yeesh.

I'm from Southern California and am familiar with "monsoon season," but I understand this year it was out of hand.

I don't mind "A" rainy day at all. Its the endless succession of them prone to this time of year that makes me want to scream and curse.
Good observation, too much of a good thing gets old.

In Florida we got 50+ inches of rain a year, but most of it was in heavy thunderstorms. In Utah we get about 20 inches, mostly snow. When we get rain it tends to be a slow drizzle. Result is it rains almost as much of the time here as Florida, but the rain is a lot less interesting...
