This is more common than most people realize.
One report said "Her life is in danger, since he's a murderer." Who cares? She participated in a murderer's escape. He may solve her problem & police may solve his problem when they catch up with him. We'll all be safer as a result.

She was easily manipulated is all. Guys like him can spot the women who will go for it. She could have been 70 and he'd have done the same. He'll keep her around while she's useful and he'll off her when she isn't anymore.

My wife, Laurie worked for a charity in NYC. So, they did a charity to raise money for sports for youth.

That does seem so. Though one would need to have at the ready, a large enough (wide) wheelchair, and the strength for the smaller, short person to maneuver it then, in public view.

Good detailed article, which even at a quick cursory glance, draws my attention to the vast number of protocols that were not followed, in this case.
And the first line of this linked article says it all:

"The main responsibility of the correctional officer is to provide protection to the community from any inmate that is in their care."

I wish she'd thought to do that one!
He's a great danger now, to more people than solely her.
