How is it that the talking heads have short hair?

So Dave was watching the news (and I was doing my best NOT to) but I looked up and there was a male talking head, and his hair was quite short. Hmmm. I'm lookin' pretty shaggy, and Dave is working on a pony tail himself. So how is it that these talking heads, broadcasting from home, who live either in D.C. or NYC, have short hair? Perhaps, just perhaps, they are autotonsorialists. Here's your grandiloquent word of the day.

Beats me, but I have noticed some of the female "common-taters" are not very good at doing their own makeup.

I always like to think it's because they have a family member whose a hairstylist .... but just yesterday it was revealed in the media that very many barbers and stylists are taking the risk during the lockdown , and secretly going to clients homes
