I don't care for her and the book theme pisses me off. It's about Shakespeare not being author of his plays. Have always avoided this author. Pseudo intellectual IMO.
I am liking this. I like reading books I wouldn't normally choose for myself. I am a reading
I have enjoyed a lot of her work, but there are a few I didn't care for. This one sounds like it might be a miss so thanks for the heads up. :)

:ROFLMAO: Me too! (Although I listen to most of my books now.)

Hi fellow Graylings!!! been up quite awhile, but got a good
nite of sleep, helped by an added sleep pill!! Sunny and decent
outside, got the laundry finished and folded now yay....sore ness
in arms shoulder's knees is reduced a heck of a lot....just called
AT&T about a line still down on ground after that storm last
week, they will send a tech on monday next.....not much else going on or if there is I cannot remember it !!!!! o_O:coffee::giggle:

OH, forgot about the vulture visit last eve, there was a dead
squirrel out in street yest afternoon, so yest eve a pair of
vultures cam along to feed off of it...every car that came by
would drive real slow to avoid them and the vulture would
hop to side of street to let cars pass....they cleaned up all
but some bones I think......🪶

@Pepper and @Medusa, I'm another voracious reader. Just finished the engaging and amusing novel "How to Age Disgracefully". The title alone was enough to suck me in. My kinda attitude.

As for Jodi Picoult, I'd agree her books are uneven. Some better than others, IMO "By Any Other Name" is definitely among her lesser works. It was one of my book club selections (we choose about 10 books every two months), so I read it through. I've never been into Shakespeare, so the main benefit I gleaned was learning about the times, culture and environment in which the plays (attributed to him) were written. Sad but unsurprising to learn the obstacles female authors faced when attempting to be published.

The cycle of nature is extraordinarily efficient.

Both daughter and I are also voracious readers... however I no longer read fiction ( except when I'm on here :sneaky:.). whereas she only reads fiction

If your Part D or prescription coverage will cover it, it might be as cheap as $50. If not, it might be more like $1000 or higher. Every month.
More like 1200 unless you have qualifying factors the manufacturer accepts. Are you looking at it for weight or diabetes? Your doc can request approval based on a number of reasons from bmi, blood pressure, documented unsuccessful attempts of weight loss ... . It may require a bit of patience and really reading potential rejections plus following up on what remedies apply to rejections.

Diabetes in my case. We'll see what insurance will do before making a move. The Doc just thinks it might be generally beneficial as well.

I expect it will be covered, since it was also brought up when my prescription insurance's pharmacist called for an annual medication review not long ago.

Fingers are crossed. A friend of mine has been loosing some weight but not as drastic as advertised.

Good morning, all. March 25th!?! Wow. March may or may not have come in like a lion, but it's racing by like a thoroughbred.

We're enjoying a patch of warmer than usual weather, so I bypassed the long pants in favor a skort this morning. Cooler tomorrow and for the next few days, so this early foray into summer wear will be brief.

Enjoying a leisurely day so far. A few business chores, a few personal chores, a quick library trip, a long walk. All in all, a pleasant day ahead.
