This is why I read SF - learning how to be a better person day by day.
 

I knew it was too good to be true... Gardener didn't do everything I asked him to do. He and his mate cut all the lawns and cut back the trees.. all very nice, he's a good gardener when he actually turns up .... but I asked him on the phone just 5 minutes before he came , if he would do 2 extra things..just small things that would take a couple of minutes. he promised he would, and now having been out there I see he hasn't.

I've just sent him a message saying that he hadn't done those jobs, and he's offered to come back and do them this afternoon, but I told him not to bother... either I'll get a friend to do them , or it'll wait until he's here next time.. I just can't be bothered with any more people here today !

Yesterday made a good start to html coding for last week's backpacking trip on my website. But by mid afternoon, that was over as I switched gears into live music and freestyle dancing mode for the third straight day.

Well per the above post, did buy a $45 Creed/Sevendust/Mammoth ticket at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View for last night. Was surprised by the huge GenX and GenZ rowdy crowds at the venue, especially by the second act, that probably had much to do with being a Saturday night with roaming teenagers looking for something to do while plenty of tickets were still available.

Before the Creed set within the standing crowd at the top of the classic amphitheater shaped venue, dozens of groups swarmed me after I began letting groups of young women take group shots with this lively person, apparently for social media postings. That went well at first but then as more groups became amused, it became so difficult to gracefully extract myself with dozens packing around me, that security guys intervened telling the mostly drunk from beer teenage groups to back off.

Am still considering late this Sunday afternoon driving the 55 miles up to San Francisco for the Heart concert at Chase Arena. Not too lively this mid morning, though did manage 7 hours of sleep. Am on Jury Duty during this work week, so need to be phoning in each morning to find out if they want me to actually come in.

My day is going so good I feel guilty posting about it. I decided on a back roads hike, since it is a nice warm day. Then my daughter came by and we decided to go mountain biking. I couldn't believe how solid I rode, just like the old days. Now, watching TV with the old man who is still peeved that I went out and "endangered" my life just for a few thrills.

He would have been OK with that if I was fastened in safely. He suggested that I get a 3 wheel bike for safety. I told him if I did, it would be a shiny red 3 wheel Harley Davidson and maybe I would get a stamp tramp tattoo where the crop top doesn't meet my jean shorts. He withdrew that suggestion and asked I strike it from his record. :ROFLMAO:
