HD I have appreciated your support regarding my own cancer battle, please know that I am here with concern and support for you.
I had forgotten that you're still working. It's good that you don't feel you wasted time going to the doctor. My son was supposed to be teaching me o play chess more than a year ago (he suggested it). He taught his youngest son when he was very young; they still play sometimes. I wonder if I could grasp the rules, then the plays required to say "Checkmate!"Today I thought I had an optometrist appt (I'd had to reschedule when I was under the weather) but got there and found it is the *24th* not the 4th. But at least I've got the paperwork that needs to be completed before I'm seen.
Was supposed to have an inservice on a new update on our documentation app at work but I ended up skipping that (with permission) and did a couple other little diddly things at the office
I finished our Library book club selection... Alice Feeney's "Daisy Darker." Hmmmm... didn't really care for it. It's hard to like a book that has *no* sympathetic characters and goes around it's own elbow to come up with a clever solution.
Lastly I went (my first time) to the meeting of the Chess Group at the local library. I appreciate the idea of chess but the execution (strategy) is hard for me to grasp fully. I will have to research before the next one. But I went mainly for some intelligent conversation... There was four of us (non-staff) playing; quite a range of ages.. mid-50's gentleman, college age young man and a middle schooler + moi. I think it will be a good thing for me.
