I try to not be a complainer but a short vent is needed...

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. (Anemia)

No energy for hardly anything. People--even those I love--irritate the snot outta me... I can barely be civil.

I'm scheduled for an iron infusion Wednesday... I pray this is the turn-around I need.

Sorry about the blah post... thanks for listening

@CinnamonSugar Sorry you are feeling so badly. My iron level went up some but still below where it should be. My doctor says if I get too bad, he will send me to the cancer institute ( where they do give blood inoculations with iron). I hope your infusion works. I hate having things go wrong and I really really hope you get to feeling better. 🤗

Surprise!

No skating for this gal, today. The rink that I usually go to will be closed for 5 weeks, for remodeling and vacation. We could go to the other rink, but with temps around 100°F, neither of us feel like going on a road trip. We might go to the other rink next week, but we won't decide that until the the time is closer.

So....what to do on a Saturday at home? For starters, Dio invited me out for breakfast!

After that, we went to the library so I could scan pictures. I managed to get 170 pictures done!!! And, we got back home before it was super hot!

I have not been home on a Saturday for 25 years. I expect to be very, very busy for the rest of the day.....

I have been stressing over the 4-way stop signs that are all over the place here. Didn't have those in the places I've lived for the past 3 decades. Did have rotaries, which I loved using because it was fun.

So a young man gave me the speech on what to do at a 4-way stop, and rode along with me while I implemented his directions. They don't make me nervous any more.

So imagine my surprise today, when I pulled up at a 4-way stop. There were cars at the other 3 stop signs, and no one was moving. I don't know what got into me, but I directed the traffic. I pointed at car #1 and waved it to go. Then repeated that with #2 and #3, before going on myself. Everyone obeyed me! They waited for me to point at them! I felt so indignant they were all just sitting there, doing nothing! This is not like me at all, at least for the past few decades.

My favorite is both vehicles going straight can go at the same time. It saves time! Which is why I like roundabouts.

By the way, how are your ribs healing? I seem to remember you had broken ribs once before.
No not me, I've never had broken ribs..... they're not broken now either..they're cracked. They still hurt, not quite like the raging devil that they did , but still sore enough for me to be ''ouching'' when I go to lie down, or even sit down or stand up from the sofa...but they are getting better slowly. It's been almost 6 weeks since the crash...thanks for asking...

roundabouts are so much easier than people give them credit for if people follow the rules... just give way to the right..in the UK...left in the USA... job done...

of course it was the hajib wearing idiotic bint who crashed into me, who was one of the few who wasn't following the rules of the roundabout and was in the totally wrong lane...

yep sadly you don't have to tell me about motorway queues, I live close to the M25 ..as you know the busiest motorway in the country.... and honestly now.. given the huge infux of traffic on the roads in the last few years, where I would not have thought twice about going out for a 2 hour or more drive despite the traffic which has always been heavy...now I just don't want to go anay more...... which is really sad...
Junction 6 of the M25 was completed in 1976, living in Chingford with the M11 opening a short time later and with the new Victoria Line terminating at Walthamstow, we thought that traffic congestion would be history. We finally gave up and moved out of London in 1981 when promotion to run the central hub at Rugby was offered. I tell you, it wasn't easy, and the saying: You can take the kid out of London, but you can't take London out of the kid is so true. The sale board nearly went up every month, but we stuck it out and I am so glad we did.

I had a very busy, productive day that started at 5:30 a.m., at which time I went down and washed a double load of laundry. Late morning, my son took me to Dick's sporting goods store so I could get a folding camping chair to take to the outdoor concerts. Then it was on to the Amazon Hub to pick up my packages. We wound up going twice because the first time, the attendant was on break so hadn't put my packages in a locker yet.

After the first time at the hub, we went to Shoprite supermarket, but I stayed in the car. It's not that far away from the hub so my son suggested that we go back and get my stuff, instead of him having to stop there on Monday. Amazon is getting very sloppy with their packaging. It made no sense that they put soft sided cartons in a soft bag instead of a box.

Later this evening, I went to HS#3's studio for the broadcast. Then tonight, he picked me up after visiting his dad, so we could go speak with a staff member of Subway, which is in the next town over. He's been trying to get her to be a guest for our Lady's Night broadcast. I will be the host. He treated me to the turkey and cheese sandwich I've been wanting for almost two weeks (and I wanted it from Subway). I only got half a sub and ate half of that after I got home. The rest will be tomorrow's lunch.

These are the tea boxes I got from Amazon. Luckily the tea bags were double packaged and not damaged.

I hope the iron infusion does help you CS! My Honorary Daughter suffered with anemia for decades. In fact, she used to faint a lot and it worried me so much when my grandchildren were little. I don't remember it affected her moods and tolerance of others though. It's not easy to fell unwell so much of the time, something I experienced when my A-fib episodes lasted for days and even a couple of weeks.

How often do you get the infusions? Do you also get B12 shots or do the infusions take the place of those? Wishing you much better health my friend. 🤗 Please keep us posted after the infusion. And no need to apologize for expressing how you are feeling! We are here for you.

yes but she could easily have been the same person on a 4 way who went on the wrong turn..or gone through a stop light.. the fact is she wasn't following the rules of the road.. and because she wasn't she almost killed me and her actions caused my car to flip 3 times, and as it was a busy motorway.. it's an absolute miracle that my car didn't land on someone's else's car and kill them

It's noon now, glorious day....🌞🌞🌺.. It's so frustrating to be stuck at home, and not be able to work in the garden..or even do too much in the house..

Yesterday I cleaned the drain in the bath of all the hair ... horrible job... but I was patting myself on the back thinking.. that's the beginning, hopefully soon, I can get back to properly cleaning the house... I mean who ever would think I'd want to actively seek to clean the house lol... but I'm looking forward to the day.

I have the opportunity to go out this afternoon with my friend for an hour or 2... if I want to.. and I might, I haven't decided yet...

Hope you all have a super Sunday..

Good morning to everyone, another system in the Atlantic Ocean coming off of Africa. It is big but not sure where or if it will become a tropical storm or hurricane. It looks like it could come to Florida at this time with the projection.

It is a little foggy and later rain storms. Weather is so strange as it sometimes rains and other times it doesn't when it says it will.

I am hoping you are all doing well today. Have a good one. :)
