After I came out of the Physiotherpy clinic... I drove to the garden centre, despte the heavy rain.... thinking it would be quiet because of the rain.. and it was ...
Ultimately, I didn't buy anything in the plants area , I only bought some Artian bakery items...some plum bread.. Parmisan Palmiers...( I normally bake the palmiers from scracth, but I can't do it at the moment)....and some chocolate honeycome biscuits as a gift for my neighbour

I had a cuppa tea in the Cafeteria, hopng the rain would ease off a little bit before I left, but it didn't.. we have the til end of Storm Amy here, apparently the north is being battered by it...

Today I went a dental school attached to a local university to save a little money. Soon as they called me they marched me right up to the cashiers office for payment. They didn't even examine me or anything.

That didn't seem right so I made an excuse and got out of there. Plus, one of their top dentists in another location is involved in the death of a patient in his chair.

The rain was pouring down this morning but I braved the soaking and went out to Hobbycraft. My wife had worked on my new shirt until the early hours. She told me that the arthritis in her hands makes scissor use, when cutting out fabric panels, quite painful. Hobbycraft sell electric cutters with variable cutters for cutting fabrics of differing thickness, hopefully these electric cutters might help. I'm getting quite a guilt trip about the amount of time she is having to spend on my new shirt.
By way of some sort of contrition, I have vacuumed throughout the house, dusted and polished all but the bedrooms and now I am preparing our evening meal. We are having trout and almonds:

There will be a serving of sweetcorn when I serve up later.

Left: Puppy love. Three times I gave Rex a slap on his butt with my sandal; let's see whether he chews on it for a
fourth time. I gave him a bunch of leather bones to chew on, but he likes my sandal better.
Right: I am getting used to hiking with only two pups, Rex one year old and Heidi five years old.

In a week, I will have only 3 pups; and in two weeks, I'll have only Rex and Heidi left (both on the right side.)
However, my older daughter wants to drive to www.vdspets.com and see whether they will do the mouth surgery
on Ross. (And she wants to pay for the surgery.)

Rex puppy has boundless energy, runs around like berserk, explores everything, and gets muddy all over.

Funny how quickly we acclimate to a new season. It was very cool this morning when I went out with my coffee so when we went Aldi-ing and Publix-ing, I wore a corduroy shirt over my t-shirt. I was too warm!

Aldi total was almost $200...how is that even possible? LOL The Aisle of Shame expenditures were minimal...I think about $5...so it was almost all food. We even got chicken breasts at 50% off, and they're not dated until next week (they went into the freezer). And then spent another $90 in Publix!

For years I've been trying to encourage DD to make a list and get a week's worth (or more) of groceries all at once instead of running to the store every time we need something. It finally registered today so we're set for about two weeks.

No chicken and dumplings tonight. We're cleaning up leftovers instead.

@hawkdon Your pumpkins should show some fun critters chowing down. I hope you can post videos.

Playing. Rex and Heidi ...............................................................................Heidi, Ross, and Rex.

Oh what fun it is (Christmas song?) My new puppy Rex reminds me of my grandson a few years ago. Way too much energy.

OMG..Llynn.. this is amazing... wow.... I bet you can't believe it... ....🤗
I'm really afraid to believe because he didn't use the word cured, and he did find some cancer again. Let's just say it's good to finally have a bit of positive news after over two years of treatment. I'm very thankful for the support and prayers I've received from my SF friends. Surgery will be first week of November.
