How long did you continue to test positive?

I came down with Covid for the first time, I was surprised to still test positive ten days after my first positive test. My daughter and her fiance both tested negative after six or seven days when they had it, yet a friend told me it took her over a month before she tested negative.

I do still have some lingering symptoms so maybe shouldn't be surprised at a positive test, but do feel well enough to resume my normal activities.

Curious what others experience has been, how long before a negative test? Or did you bother to test again after you were feeling better?

I never did. My wife got Covid, not a terrible version, pretty average. At the same time I showed minor symptoms for a day or so, then they went away. I did several tests, always negative. She was positive for a week or so.

Maybe I didn't have it, or maybe I had such a mild version it never tested positive, who knows.

At that point we both had the vaccine and booster.
