How many people here don't own a smartphone?

I always loathed smartphones and avoided them until 5 years ago when I started delivering for DoorDash and UberEats. That being said I have a flip phone for personal communication and literally only use my smartphone for work apps and immediately turn it off after each work shift.

With the rising gas prices and dropping hourly pay rate they now offer, gig work is really not worth it anymore in my opinion. I was kinda bummed about that because I still feel like working, but realized I can get rid of my smartphone for good:)

Being a bit of a Luddite, I fought getting a smart phone. I thought my flip phone was all I needed.

But when I did convert, my eyes were opened BIG. I use my phone as a computer more than I use my laptop these days.

I don't have a "fancy" or expensive smart phone....just one that's a little smarter than me. I've had this one for maybe five years now and it's getting near time for a new one as this one is getting a little quirky.

I resisted the so called smart phone for awhile, but my company gave us an Iphone and I have to be honest ... I got hooked.

I try not to spend too much time on it. I don't go out to eat and spend all my time on the phone, or go to sporting/music events and spend all my time filming the event ... but I do play little games on it while watching tv and spend more time than I should watching funny cat videos.
