How Much Texting Do You Do?

Since I have a severe hearing problem I text quite a bit on a daily basis. It's my main means of communication with family, friends and doctors offices.

I will on FB with friends but with just one working hand its hard to do and hold the phone. I don't do much FB as I never could understand everybody putting their lives out there for God knows who to see.

I rarely use my mobile phone at all but like to keep it with me for emergencies, texting occasionally

It must be a big help for you Lon, with hearing problems

I'll peck out a little note to a friend of mine or my daughter on the flip phone once in a while just for fun. I'm not very good at it so it takes a looooong time for me to do it..

Wish it had spell check..

My dentist does the appointment reminder thing by text message. All you have to do is text back "yes" or "no" if you can keep the appointment. I like that better than getting a call.

Only while traveling. Still using my trusty Tracfone. Usually a heads up to my daughter as to our time of arrival. By the time I text her that we are an hour away 20 minutes have passed. She has learned to take that into consideration.

All the time. In fact,I`m laughing because as I was getting ready to respond here,my phone "whistled" with a text notification from my husband. He texts me a lot. Sometimes I ignore them lol. This text says "Yippee! I found the CD". We have been trying to find this CD that the property manager for our rental had sent us with all of the financial info on it. Couldn`t figure out what we did with it. Wonder where he found it? Probably in his desk at work....he kept saying I had it lol.

Very little, goes in spurts. Maybe when enroute to out-of-town family or friends, Every so often, will do a "l love you" /love you too" string of text exchanges with my daughter, or exchanging dog or cat or baby photos with...anybody.
