How often do you check your main email account?

I am amazed when I ask people this and I get replies anywhere from every few weeks to never. I check several times a day since that is an important communication venue for me.

Same here. And I don't have much else to do, so....

If I'm on the computer, Thunderbird email app is minimized to the taskbar and checks email accounts every 4-5 minutes automatically, whatever the default setting is. I get about six to a dozen emails a day. None is spam.

Minimize on Close is the Thunderbird email addon I use. Click "X" in upper right corner of Thunderbird and instead of closing, Thunderbird is minimized to the taskbar. When I need to close Thunderbird entirely, just right click on taskbar icon and "Close".

My iPad checks email automatically, and I have an alert when there is email ; and then I look. I always get email overnight, so I check first thing in the morning, and delete anything that I am not interested in.
So, I am also checking mine on and off all day long.

Me too. I get plenty of mails every day-
I like the USPS service too-"informed delivery" , via email, that sends me a photo of what to expect in my mailbox every morning.

Usually there might be more by time mailman gets here.
But for me, if it is just regular mail and we have a lot of snow, I dont have to get to the mailbox near the road, until the next day.

And if I expect something from amazon ,they let me know how to track it.

Email has become more of a scam and advert weeding chore than anything else.

I look into that but I wouldn't agree to the terms and conditions which have a lot of loopholes.

I am very anal about my main email account. I hate to see it pile up so I check several times a day. I have my spam filters set up well so the only email I get on my account are ones I am interested in. I use many burner email accounts for things I sign up for only for a one time thing and never check those.
