I'm fairly sure that the Washington Post's Covid coverage is free to everyone, please forgive me if it isn't.
- Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com/
- Scroll down to the section Guide to the Pandemic
- Click on in the section with the graphs titled Places with highest daily reported cases per capita
- On the new page scroll down until you see the map of the US
- Make sure that Cases is in red, Adj. for population is in grey and Since last week is in grey
- If those choices aren't as such click on those sections to make them either red or grey
- Click on the state you live in
- When you move the mouse around it will show the name of the county where the hand icon is.
- When your county comes up notice the Since last week number at the bottom and that is the number of cases per 100,000 since last week
- To get the daily average divide that number by 7
