How to Restore Copper Pans?

I have six different copper finished pans, molds? I have never baked with them or anything. They're just up in the kitchen for decorative purposes. I was dusting them today and noticed a bit of darkening and blackening in some spots. What could I safely polish them with? They're probably ten, twenty years old if not more.

I don't know how safe it is, but I have a copper bottom stainless steel frying pan and I've smeared ketchup on it and let it sit for a half hour, wiped clean. Any rough spots get another application....good luck.

I have copper bottom pans and just wet the pan and dust with salt and lemon juice. Let sit a few minutes and scrub. Brings them back like new.

We have several Revere Ware pots and pans....probably 25+ years old. They have a copper bottom, and when it becomes discolored, we scrub the bottoms with a powder called "Barkeepers Friend"....its like Comet or other scouring powders but not as coarse. A container is only about $2 at Walmart, and it lasts us a long time. After using this for years, the copper is still in good shape.
