That was very informative Pinky....thanks for posting....I've always washed my fresh fruits and veggies with soap and water but not for 20 seconds....I will now....and gonna follow his advice with the rest of the groceries I bring into the house....better yet, bring those plastic or paper bags onto the kitchen floor, empty them out while sanitizing each item, then sanitize the floor....never put them on your countertop, ever again!

@Pops & Pappy .. you're welcome! I don't have the counter space to do that, so, the groceries go from the bags to the sink.

Blah some say don't bring groceries in the house at all. Leave them in the garage, in my case with the garbage, and disinfect them there.

What do I do? I lug them in once and put them away. Foolhardy yes, but one of the last semblances of normalcy I have left before I die.

I agree, some of it seems over the top, and I don't wipe down ever single item. I do wash produce. For one thing, I don't have any sanitizer, so I use soap & water.

It's here for those who want to do the maximum .. and, some do.
