Hello to everyone. New here but looking forward to getting acquainted and learning more about retirement and growing older. I've had this site bookmarked for quite some time but just rediscovered it today. After reading a few topics and posts I decided to register.
I've actually been retired since 2003. I retired from a full-time job and stayed home for a couple of years, did a lot of little projects I had been putting off and then got bored. I went back to work on a part-time basis until about a year ago. I never married and have no children. Parents are deceased, one much older sibling is still living. I enjoy reading mysteries, genealogy research and taking care of my dog. My retirement dream was always to buy a little rv and travel and maybe I'll do that yet. Also interested in amtrak travel and cruising.
