Huge Snowstorm

The news tonight was full of stories about the major snowstorm that hit the Northeast. Many places set, or equaled records for this time of year. There were a bunch of accidents on the roads, and they even showed a man who got stranded in his car for several hours, after the snowplows buried it, with him in it.
Did anyone here get caught in this storm? We just had a light dusting of snow as the front moved through the Midwest.
 

We received 2 feet of snow. All I can say is thank goodness for snowblowers. Made the job a little easier dealing with it than shoveling it all by hand. The end of our driveway was plowed in over 4 feet. Now that took time to clear because of it being compacted. Blew paths throughout the yard after we finished for the wildlife.
 

I've got over a foot of snow I haven't even begun to shovel due to throwing my back out last week. A woman in my hometown was killed downtown when she was struck down by a snow laden awning. :cry:
