The Toronto Humber River Hospital has just announced the largest cash donation in it's history. Fifty million dollars.

The donors are a Canadian husband and his Wife, Jay Hennick and Barbara Hennick. This not the first time that the Hennicks have donated a large amount to a Toronto area hospital. In 2019 they donated 40 million to the Bridgepoint Hennick Hospital . In 2016 they donated 36 million to Mount Sinai Hospital in downtown Toronto.

The Humber River Hospital will be renamed the Humber Hennick Hospital.

Mister Hennick has a net worth of about $ 4 billion CDN dollars as of 2025. I was a patient at the Bridgepoint Hospital for about 5 months in 2025 and 2026.

Mister Hennick's bio. It all started with a 15 year old kid, who got a summer job as a swimming pool life guard. By age 19 he was employing hundreds of other young people as life guards with his first business start up.

This is heartwarming. It’s good that wealthy people share their wealth where it could really be used to advance the lives of others in a position manner. Good for them.
Yes those who share are to be applauded.

Some of the entertainment people who prance around the stage half naked and are already billionaires could do likewise.
I cannot imagine having all that wealth and not do something with it.
