You are in the process of helping composting worms procreate. They do resemble night crawlers.

Are you raising them for yourself or to sell ?

It sounds like an interesting project that may initially take a lot of work, but once you get them mated should pretty much babysit itself.

years ago my husband raised nightcrawlers for fishing. He kept them in a cooler with Buss Bedding in the basement. Do you sell the red wigglers?

Worms are cool, I always felt bad sticking a hook in them when fishing.

Hope you didn't spend a lot . If it were me being frugal as I am I would start with one flat worm.
Flat worm can self reproduce.
