I Am About To Get a Slice of My Birthday Pie

Today is my birthday and while the calendar tells me that I have turned 78, I am deducting 2020 since, like most people, I didn't really get to live it. I am starting 77 all over again and am recommending this as a coping strategy for everyone else who has been cooped up all year.

Now as for the pie, my lady's pumpkin is a awesome treat for the taste buds and far superior to any cake (with the possible exception of her Butternut Rum Cake). Later the two of us will sip some egg nogs, sing Happy Birthday and hope that we don't frighten the two Bichons or the Cat with our singing.

You folks have a good evening and a Great Thanksgiving!

Good idea, Pecos. I will seriously consider doing that, too!

Pie sounds good, I happened to have some pie in the icebox, but I had chili and crackers for supper a couple hours ago. A man 72 shouldn't have chili and crackers this late. Enough of my problems and Happy Birthday to you.
