With a story that goes against the odds. When I think of my parents, there is no trace of sadness because my parents love knew no bounds.

Their hands are as delicate as a June breeze. Never expressed rage or sadness. In a world where evil reigns supreme, They protected us with a love that's so distinctive. A melody of caring and compassion. Through life's storms, they stood tall, guiding us with a powerful love. No scars on my heart, no wounds to mend, for their love and their faith was unshakable. In the land of memories, music, politics and they showed their compassion for people and animals or animals and people

They live on In the music I listen to, the animals I love and my compassion for people. We share a gentle and harmonious story and though my heart is broken, I'm so happy that there's no more suffering, and I'm glad that they are home.

I loved this. Thank you. It's written on my father's headstone: "We'll spend the rest of our lives missing you." My sister thought that up. She's gone now too. Me, only one left. Won the tontine! Last one standing. My original family. Ma, Dad, 2 sisters, Grandma Rose. I live in apartment I grew up in. All mine now. Big deal. There are ghosts here.

Hi Pepper, I’m glad you loved my poem but I’m sorry if it gave you sad thoughts. I too have lost everyone except my daughter but I don’t get a chance to see her very often and it breaks my heart. Whenever I have experienced a loss I actually feel physical pain I can feel my heart hurting. I had just added in another thread how lonely I am I actually think I will die from it. Oh well, I’ve made many mistakes and like my dad always said “if you want to dance, you have to pay the band”.

No, didn't give me sad thoughts. I think about "Them" all the time anyway.

Yes I understand and do believe one can die, or do damage to one's physical being, from loneliness. Take an old English ballad like 'Barbara Allen,' all those heartache & grief & death old songs, they come from Truth.

Don't die from loneliness, we'll save you....🤗

Someone save me from myself I’ve spent so long living in hell. They save my lifestyle is bad for my health it’s the only thing that seems to help! I love this song…. Kelly Clarkson does a rendition of the song!

I'm reading this thread for the first time, now;
and today is Sunday, so it's a couple of days since the last post.

I am sending my caring to you, this morning, @CerealKiller
